Please join me in wishing Professor Richard Epstein a very happy birthday today. He is a long-time contributor to the No. 86 conversation, and I think he deserves some recognition and appreciation on the occasion of his 81st birthday.
Professor Epstein is the Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law at New York University, the Peter and Kirsten Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution, and the James Parker Hall Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus and Senior Lecturer at the University of Chicago. He has written numerous books and essays on a variety of subjects pertaining to law. He has taught courses in administrative law, antitrust, constitutional law, contracts, environmental law, and torts, among others.
He’s also appeared in 80 different No. 86 videos and podcasts (I included my five favorites below).
So please join me in thanking Professor Epstein for his contributions to not only No. 86 but also the study of law as a whole.
